Use your experience of creating and delivering multi channel communication strategies to manage and drive the development of engaging content and communications for high profile Comic Relief campaigns.
Join us and you will play a key role in helping change people’s perceptions by researching, creating and managing content for the See Africa Differently website as well as for our broader “Good News” agenda. Day-to-day, you will help encourage public engagement by working with colleagues across the organisation to capture stories, utilise statistics to develop multi-media content and generally support our promotion of good news and a more positive image of Africa to people in the UK, with a specific focus on a youth audience. As well as create and manage communication strategies you will also evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Key will be your ability to identify opportunities and cultivate new ideas to ensure greater understanding of the effectiveness of the work we do in delivering a just world free from poverty.
With experience in a similar communications and marketing environment, you will excel at delivering communications strategies and creating content for websites and social networks. You will be used to working with creative teams, juggling multiple projects and evaluating campaign statistics. You will also possess well developed project management and communication skills.
Comic Relief positively welcomes, and seeks to ensure we achieve, diversity in our workforce and that all job applicants and employees receive equal and fair treatment, regardless of age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or nationality. We encourage applications from disabled people as they are currently under-represented in the organisation. We will guarantee an interview to all disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria for the job.
