Comic Relief works in the UK to bring about positive and lasting change in the lives of poor and disadvantaged people. Our UK Grants team manages a number of specific grants programmes.

You will help deliver our grant making strategy mainly, but not exclusively, in two programmes, which support young people affected by Domestic and Sexual Abuse and Refugee and Asylum-seeking Women.  Day-to-day, you will be responsible for shortlisting and assessing applications to both programmes and undertaking grant maintenance and management. Carrying out a range of tasks, you will be supporting all aspects of the grant making process and play a key role in the continuing development of the UK Grants programme, and in the UK Grants team.

With experience of working in or with the UK voluntary sector, you have a strong track record of grant making. PC literate, you will have an eye for detail, strong written and verbal communication and analytical skills as well as be comfortable managing budgets. Key will be your ability to ensure high quality grant making.
