Maternity cover contract from May 2012 – May 2013
If you have experience of writing accessible, inspiring copy about serious content be part of the creative team at Comic Relief and help us deliver engaging editorial about the projects, people and issues that we support.
As Research and Information Co-ordinator you will use your research skills to build a bank of powerful statistics and issue content, ensure information held is up-to-date and referenced as well as create communication hooks by developing a dynamic calendar of important dates and events. You will also construct strong bonds with colleagues across the organisation to ensure information is picked up and used effectively. Key will be your role in turning raw data into understandable marketing copy and supporting the editorial team by producing well written briefings on issues related to grant making.
Having developed the writing and desk based research skills to deliver authoritative information, content and briefings you are comfortable providing wide ranging admin support and working with databases. As well as excellent relationship building skills, you will have an eye for detail and be able to spot an interesting story amongst the raw data. Your ability to manage multiple projects and organise large volumes of information will also be important.
