Since 2009, Comic Relief has worked with the UK government’s Department for International Development (DFID) to jointly fund amazing organisations working to address poverty and injustice across Africa.
As Partnerships Coordinator you will support the Government-Funded Partnerships team to ensure the successful delivery of our co-funded initiatives with DFID and the grants within them. Together we are investing in partners across sub-Saharan Africa. Our diverse and engaging portfolios cover a range of issues and approaches, including the rights of women and girls, inclusive education, trade, enterprise, employment and development in informal settlements. Your role will be key to supporting the team to deliver excellent grant management and support to our partners. This will involve providing general admin support, managing inbound queries, coordinating data gathering to produce reports, as well as identifying inspiring stories of change to be shared with partners, colleagues and the public.
You will have experience of designing, implementing and managing processes and have strong admin skills, as well as a good understanding of databases and MSOffice. An effective communicator, you will enjoy building relationships and resolving problems. You will have a keen eye for detail, be passionate about delivering quality and an appetite to learn and grow.
